Floating Island

Floating Islands function as innovative planting platforms which use natural coconut coir material to create floating platforms that enable plant cultivation in water bodies such as ponds lakes reservoirs and decorative water features. The islands use their floating design to hold plant roots underwater which creates an environment that allows roots to absorb nutrients from water while receiving necessary oxygen. The coir structure provides excellent root support, durability, and moisture balance, allowing plants to establish quickly and grow vigorously.

Floating islands help improve plant growth by enhancing nutrient uptake, stabilizing root systems, and reducing plant stress in aquatic environments. The plants which these systems support include aquatic species and semi-aquatic species such as reeds, sedges, rushes, water irises, cattails, flowering wetland plants, and ornamental aquatic species. The Northern Mont Floating Islands support plant growth which leads to natural water filtration and erosion control and better water quality, making them an eco-friendly solution for both functional and aesthetic aquatic landscaping.
